Juice is not your average band. Consisting of four well-trained musicians with many years of experience, Juice incorporates a wide variety of styles into their music, ranging from disco to funk to rock and commercial jazz. In addition, all four members of Juice are fine singers, which blended with their excellent musicianship results in a tight, polished sound. |

| STEVE began his musical career on guitar at age 12. He, along with Ken, was instrumental in forming Addison Grace, one of Central Illinois' more popular rock bands. Temporarily retiring from the rock scene, he attended Illinois Central College, majoring in electronics. While at ICC, he also found time to study music theory and voice, as well as participating in various performance groups. During the last two years, Steve played guitar with the Jesse Flores Band, gaining experience in a wide variety of musical styles. | NITA began formal piano instruction at age 4 and continued through college. Majoring in music, she studied voice, piano, theory, composition, and various performance groups at ICC. She then concentrated on those areas at U of I in Champaign, studying both classical and jazz styles. Nita has been performing for several years and just recently finished a 9 month stay playing light jazz in one of Peoria's lounges. | KEN started playing guitar at the age of 10. After a few years of private lessons and time to "ripen", Ken and Steve got together to form Addison Grace. The group progressed quickly into becoming one of Central IL better rock groups. After leaving AG, Ken joined the Harlen Spector Show, a 4 piece road group that toured the Central, Northern and Western United States. Since then, he has studied with jazz guitarist Bill Barker and also has tackled the bass guitar which is now his main instrument in Juice. | MICKEY began studying drums at the age of ten and percussion keyboards at twelve. He played with several dance bands in the Peoria area while in high school, and then attended the Berklee College of Music for five years. His courses at Berklee centered primarily around percussion and improvisation, including studies with Gary Chaffee, Richard "Pablo" Landrum, and Gary Burton. Mick moved back to Illionois and had been playing in the Peoria area again fro several months before becoming a member of Juice. | ||
