We were a "typical?" nuclear family when I was young. I could ride my first 10 speed bike over to Villa Park to see my cousins: Susan, Perry and Jeff. I took drum lessons from Aunt Joyce in Elmhurst.

Grandma and Grandpa Davis lived in a white stucco house on Mitchell, in Elmhurst. Grandma and Grandpa Bender were on the farm south of Villa Grove
